Chocolate Banana Milkshake

This delicious Chocolate Banana Milkshake only contains 5 pantry ingredients and it can be made in under 15 minutes! Typically milkshakes are made with ice cream, making them a not so healthy treat. The only sugar in this recipe comes from the bananas, which helps thicken and provide that silky, smooth texture we all love. My preference is to use frozen bananas because I like it to be as thick as possible, but fresh bananas work just as well too. Sometimes, I also like to add a scoop of peanut butter (or any nut butter will work) for an even thicker texture and nutty flavor. I hope you enjoy this nutritious treat as much as my family does!

Quick tip: This mixture makes great popsicles too! Just pour into the molds, freeze and enjoy!

Chocolate Banana Milkshake
Prep time: 5-10 minutes | Serves: 1-2

Ingredients:

12 large ice cubes
1 banana, frozen
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 cup full-fat coconut milk (add more until desired thickness is reached)

Directions:

1.) Place all ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and serve.
