NorCal Margarita

Cocktails aren’t a great thing to drink every day but on occasion, I love a good Nor-Cal Margarita. It’s not laden with sugar, corn syrup or other chemicals and you can reap the benefits from the Vitamin C in the lime and orange. You can feel good about drinking this refreshing cocktail in moderation, but please remember that alcohol is still alcohol. I want you to be able to indulge once in awhile in the healthiest way possible. Enjoy!

Quick tip: For a good probiotic kick, replace the sparkling water with kombucha!

NorCal Margarita
Prep time: 10 minutes | Serves: 1

Ingredients:

2-3 oz. tequila
1 lime, juiced
½ orange, juiced
Sparkling water, as needed
Lime wedges, for garnish
Ice, as needed

Directions:

1.) Shake the tequila, lime and orange juice with ice, then strain into a glass with ice and top off with sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
