Spiked Lemonade

There’s nothing like a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade on a hot afternoon. It’s so refreshing and it packs a generous dose of immune boosting Vitamin C. However, this Spiked Lemonade isn’t like what your grandma used to serve you when you were a child…this recipe contains no added sugar (unless another natural sweetener other than stevia is used) and it only takes a matter of minutes to make. The vodka is an added bonus for adults but it can easily be made without and will still taste great!

Quick tip:  Try using juice from other citrus and grated ginger for different flavors!

Spiked Lemonade
Prep time: 10 minutes | Serves: 1

Ingredients:

1 lemon, juiced
1½ oz. gluten-free lemon or regular vodka
1 cup sparkling water
Liquid stevia or honey, to taste
Lemon slices, for garnish

Directions:

1.) Combine all ingredients and pour over ice.
